Explanation of Data

     An object at rest will remain at rest until acted upon by an outside unbalanced force. As you can see by the video and the graph, before the ball is kicked, the ball is at rest. The instant the ball is kicked, the velocity skyrockets.
     To make this video we used a flip camera.  We also used Logger Pro to analyze our data and produce the table above.
     In the video to the right, you can see how Newton's Laws applies to the real world using a car.  These laws help communities save money on gas because inertia lets the car stay in motion longer than it would without it.
